We will take care of everything for you! All we need from you is the pharmacy from which you are currently receiving your medications, and we will contact them. After the transfer, we will be the pharmacy responsible for filling your prescription.
You are not required to order refills. We will contact you 5-7 days before your next refill to inform you that your prescription will be filled that day and to confirm your shipping address.
Once we’ve completed your final refill, we’ll notify you by including an orange slip in your package that states, “This is your final refill.” Additionally, we will contact your prescribing physician on your behalf to request a refill, so you don’t have to take time out of your schedule to obtain an appointment with your prescribing physician. In contrast, the doctor may now return and deny our refill requests since they want you to make an appointment with them first.
We can accept a credit card or debit card over the phone if you have a copay. Once the card number is entered into our system, we will use only the last four digits for security. We will not charge your card until we have contacted you and informed you that your medication is ready for shipment and we have received your authorization to charge your card.
Medications that require refrigeration will be kept in an insulated box with ice packs to keep them cool. Our cold packages are shipped overnight and maintain their temperature for up to 72 hours. Regular medications are sent via a national carrier in protective packaging. When packages are shipped within Louisiana, arrival is anticipated the next day. Please allow 3-5 days for delivery in other states.
Our shipping department will always contact you the day before shipment to ensure that your prescription is ready for shipment. You will be notified via email when your package is picked up, in transit, and delivered. If you provide an email address, it will be entered into the national carrier’s database when your package’s label is created.
If we are notified in advance, we can ship the medication to any specified location. Additionally, you can pick up your medication at a national carrier store near you.
We ship via a national carrier, which means that if your medication is a cold item, it will always be shipped overnight and will arrive the following day. If the medication is shipped via ground, it is determined by the state in which you reside.
